Putting images on primatives.

I want to put images on plane primatives. I can do that with the surfaces tab, but I don't want the black background of the image to appear. How do I do this? I think you have to make a template or something? I'm using Daz 4, if that makes a difference.

I know it can be done, because I'm sure I've done it before. I just can't remember how!

EDIT: I've just figured it out. Please ignore my ineptitude!

Most things, unless they're very technical, can be figured out through trial and error, so I'm glad you got it figured out. :-)

I can't even begin to count the times something has driven me absolutely nuts trying to figure it out so I finally break down and post a plea for help on the forum.

And then 10 seconds later I figure it out on my own.
