I presume theres a file somewhere that Daz reads to get the Style and Layout of the interface each time it starts up?
I dont mean what scene etc it loads with, i mean the interface layout.. where the tabs are etc...
I have got a new computer which now currently has 4 drives in it. . .
(C) - New SSD : Windows 10 pro
(D) - New HDD : New Daz Install
(F) - old computers C Drive : Previous computers windows 7
(G) - old computers G Drive : Previous Daz installs and content
Now, to save all the hassle of re-setting up the layout of Daz on my new D Drive, I would like to just be able to copy the file (if possible) that Daz used when starting up in my old computer (F/G drives)
I would guess that its somewhere on my (F) drive (which is my old C Drive), because opening the Daz on my old G drive, now opens with default Interface layout and NOT how it used to. Probably because its looking for (C) where in actual fact that (C) is now (F)..??
That last sentence sounds really confusing I know, but hopefully somebody knows what I'm on about and what I would like to do :)
Thanks

On the original OS it would ahve been C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Daz 3D\Studio4\ - the .dsx files have the layout and other UI configurations.
Nice one. . . Thanks Richard
I just had a look and there are some .dsx files there. I will have a go tomorrow and see if it works.
Thanks again
