Is there a way to use encrypted content in Daz Studio 4.8?

I accidentially purchased an encrypted content 'Additional Blood Layers for Genesis 3 Male(s)', as I already had 'Additional Blood Layers for Genesis 3 Female(s)' on my list, which is not encrypted.

Is there a way to use the content in Daz Studio 4.8? I do not render in Daz Studio. I only use it as source for another software, so I'm mainly interested in the maps.

    I'm a bit confused and annoyed. The product 'Additional Blood Layers for Genesis 3 Female(s)' can be installed manually, but the product 'Additional Blood Layers for Genesis 3 Male(s)' is encrypted. As a user of Daz Studio 4.8 I will not be able to use it until I upgrade. For me this is a kind of trap, as I did not expect this.

    I know, I should have read the product description carefully, but I didn#t expect the male product to be different from the female.

    Is there a way to return it, as I do not want to upgrade at the moment?

    Yes products may be returned up to 30 days after purchase. Simply go to Help > Contact us > Submit a help ticket and request a return and refund.

    Thanks for the fast reply. Still I wonder, if there is a way to use the content in Daz Studio 4.8 and decrypt it offline.I use Daz Studio as a source for another application and so 4.8 works perfectly.

    The images are not encrypted, only the presets - though of course you would need DS4.9 to install.

    Well you can install the D|S 4.9 public build and beta without losing 4.8

    I actually use 4.7 for similar reasons and have the beta for the occasional use of iray.

    Wait until the year expires for the encrypted items; Daz has said they will be available unencrypted then, and they will also be cheaper as a year old. :) Presuming they will work in 4.8, but most will?
