Most V4.2 stuff is in Poser formats, except for DS-optimized material presets.  If you install with DIM it will show up in Products.  A lot of my V4.2 stuff also has metsadata so it will show up in categories (although I make my own categories anyway), but not all of it.

It looks like you have the Daz Connect library listed as a Poser-format library.  Can you post a screenshot of your Content Directory Manager?

You should not install anything for the gen4 figures with Connect.  If you find a product for them that is Connect only you should contact customer service and ask they fix it or refund it if they don't agree it is broken.

  • here is stuffin poser directory,....its all daz or poser stuff. I cant seem to do much with it and as you can see its a long list

  • That is not the list under Poser Formats, that appears to be a list of user-created categories (prsumably created by you at some point).

  • ok, the big question is how do i get rid of it and why did it happen...i dont have a clue what i didi to make that happen,,thanks

I'm guessing you used "Scan Hard Drives for Files" and it picked up each Runtime folder.  If you didn't have a lot of content folders before, then the easiest way to fix this off the top of my head would be to create a new content set in Content Directory Manager with only the correct entries, then make that the Current set.  If you do have a lot of content folders, then I would suggest using the sample scripts under Directory Mapping here:  http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/start

to export the list, then delete all the extras in a text editor, then import the list back in.
