AutoFitting Hair From V4 to G2F And Losing Transform Options

Hello all, so I'm using a braided hair style that has long tails. I own the Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female tool and it works great to get the hair auto-fitted to my G2F character's hair. The only problem is once I apply the auto-fit, I lose the ability to control the tails of the hair style using the parameters. Without using auto-fit each little part of each tail is articulate and I have tons of flexibility as far as posing, using the parameters tab. However,  once I apply the hair to auto-fit none of the parts of the tail show up in the scene tab and I can no longer control them. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for any help

  • One option is to parent the hair to the head, rather than fitting it. Use the transforms to get it more or less correctly positioned, allowing it to be too tight to the skull rather than too loose. then go to Edit>Figure>Geometry>Apply Smoothing Modifier and set the Genesis 2 Female figue as the collision target, which will push out the too tight to the skull areas. That way the tail controls will still work.

Thank you very much! Worked like a charm!
