Figured I'd finally move on from Apollo and make genesis versions of some of my favorite characters. Decided to start off with Booster Gold. Blue Beetle is next.

Ted Kord Blue Beetle? I loved Ted. Jaime is okay, and Dan Garrett was way before my time, but I have a lot of fond Ted Kord memories.

Yup, Kord, though I'm going to attempt the jaime reyes version too at some point.

Does Ami Mizuno (aka Sailor Mercury) count as a superhero? Oh, well, here she is anyway. Used Xiao Wen V5, Philly Hair fG/Colors, Swords Fantastic, the Genesis Supersuit, MachPack (the white Flannel shader), DzFire's Real Metals (the Bright Gold Ratraced shader), Gemologica (the Amazonite02 shader), Dragon Queen for Genesis Female, Our Lady of the Dragons, Elven Warrior fG, and Ailell. DS4.5Pro render, postwork in GIMP. Larger version in my deviantART gallery here.

Just a WIP, but I'm pretty happy with the characters. It's the Green Scar and Elloe from Planet Hulk. Made from Mr. Hyde and V4 using a bunch of outfits from the store.

No fancy background but he's a Hiro for sure. This is Hiro 3's "Dagon" converted to Genesis. Always learn something . Had to get the Scabbard and sword boned so it "stuck" to the Harness... in doing so it created shoulder and collar bones which caused stretching of the scabbard and sword when the arms were moved. Removing those bones seemed to fix it nicely.

Of course I use my Bruno with the scruff and soul patch facial hair option and my violet eyes option to go with the outfit, not that you can see them very well. :P

Learning how to use UberVolume Smoke: the latest of my Nightcrawler renders (M5, with the Freaky Devil tail from the old DAZ Freestuff. Suit and hair by JoeQuick).

It's a little dark, so it's better viewed on an LCD screen or laptop than an old CRT monitor.

Another revised version of Storm, the other one was way too dark, I also changed the hairstyle i think the Mohawk style works so much better with this scene.

Joe can't sell established super hero gear Tim. All those nasty laws and what not. DC Comics would swoop in and be very nasty about it all.

Yup. But, no worries, Tim. Joe generously makes these fan creations available for free like the Gen 3 and Gen 4 stuff before and just recently the Turtles for Genesis. Which, by the way, is always most appreciated, Joe! ;-)

Draft render inside Blue Beetle's Ship.

I made Rduda a couple of Star Trek uniforms and he made me a ship.

No one tell him that he did way more work than I did.

    ah, gotcha

I wonder if some kind of non-monetary trade could be arranged for the use.

That second rendering of the Beetle and Booster has a serious Kevin Maguire/Terry Austin stylistic vibe going on. Really nicely done.

Heh, for some reason this reminds me of the time they tried to repossess the tank. Funny what triggers a memory.
