can't start Bryce in Parallels

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium under Parallels 7 on a 15" Mac Book Pro. I upped both the memory and video memory in the Parallels settings. I also uninstalled the program and then reinstalled it after changing the settings. Mac OS=10.8.2

When I try to launch Bryce I get a message: unknown error while running C:\Program Files\DAZ3d\Bryce7/Bryce.exe &

Any trouble shooting ideas? I really don't want to spend $1K on a Windows machine just to use Bryce.
