Never had a problem with this before as I have always used trousers, but a figure I am working on now is in a skirt and the dreaded triangle crease is really annoying.

Does the skirt have a smoothing modifier applied? If that doesn't help, I've found that sometimes fitting the skirt to another clothing item like the super suit or the morphing fantasy dress (set to invisible) can help with the triangular dent.
