I have installed Genesis Starter Essentials on the recently installed latest version of Daz Studio 4.9.  Attached are images to show my problem.  I have downloaded/installed Genesis manually as I always do and not via DIM.  Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong as the missing file is in fact showing in the data folder?

Any help are appreciated,

Laura

I've had that happen when using an older item and the AutoAdapted folder in data had - well something happened to it and I can't remember what. No idea if that is related.

In fact, I have no other items installed yet.  I have installed DS4.9.2.70 only yesterday and then Gen1 Starter Ess.  No other versions of DS was installed on laptop, this is first time on my laptop after I have installed Win 7.  An older version, DS4.8 is on my desktop computer where Gen1 is fine.

Can you post a screenshot of the Poser and Studio format listings from the Content Directory Manager?  (Prefferences >Content Library > Content Directory Manager)

The problem is that the "data" folder is not directly inside the folder referenced as a DS content directory, so DS doesn't find the geometry:
Since DAZ introduced DIM all the zips have inculded a top-level "Content" folder that DIM uses, so if you simply uncompress the zip into "My library" then you get that extra folder instead of having the content directly in there.

    So you have two options:

    1. take everything inside "Content" and move it directly into "My Library"
    2. change the content directory parameters in DS to reference "My Library/Content" rather than "My Library" as your DS and Poser content directory,

@Leana - thank you, it work!

@mjc1016 - followed Leana's tip to move everything to 'My Library' folder instead which work.
