Bryce 7.1 crashed after serial number is entered

I have installed Bryce 7.1 from the download link. Then I launched it. The dialog with prompts for name and serial number appeared. I entered the name and serial according the ones stored on the site under my account. The bryce crashed immidiatly after I enter the checkmark button.

I tried to restart the computer. Upgraded my OS to Sierra.  THe problem is still the same.

Is this on a Mac?    Bryce 7 will not work on any OS X  >10.6
