two questions - iray thumbnail generation? destination file naming text behavior

hey there--

two quick questions about default daz studio behaviors that i'd love to change:

a) is there some setting that will get studio to generate iray thumbnails when saving a file? manually generating/naming/placing them is a drag and a half.

b) is there a setting to allow text entry in the render settings destination file naming window to behave normally--without jerking the cursor back to the end of the file name automatically every time a character is entered?

any and all help wrangling these will very much appreciated.  thanks!

a) not that I am aware of

b) this has been reported as a bug, but it may be worth a reminder (assuming it is still an issue in the new beta).

It is same about LPE Expression  input box too.

a) V3Digitimes has a Super Save product that will generate beautiful Iray thumbnails and even tip files (the larger view you get when hovering over the thumbnail). I use Super Save so often that I even redefined my Ctrl-S shortcut in Daz Studio to use Super Save Incremental Pro. I can still access the normal Save and Save As from the DS menu in cases where I don't want to use the incremental save.

b) I reported this many many versions ago, and it has still not been fixed. It seems like it would be a simple fix, but it is so frustrating! Thank you for reporting it again.

b) It's really a Qt 4 problem that isn't really fixed until Qt 5 (which has a couple of other UI fixes, too...but is a MAJOR update for Studio...as in needs a new SDK type update)
