I exported from Hexagon props to DAZ. And all of them parented to other prop. But in the location/rotation properties all of them are to 0. I need to know the relative distence to the parented object ( a null ). How to pass the coordinates to real ?

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are wanting to do.
Hello Richard. I have a lot of props parented to a null, ok ? The problem is that all props have the same X/Y/Z locations. 0/0/0.
I suppose that the user's properties in the IDE for move in X/Y/Z are for a relative movement SINCE the props entered in the scene as ZERO position. But I would like to have the world position or better, the relative position with rellation to their parent object.
I tried to change the tool settings from local/global/etc.. but this original position ( 0/0/0 ) is not changed. What am i doing wrong ?
Thank you.
You can change the items Centre Point with the Joint Editor tool - imported OBJs always have the centre point at the origin, regardless of where the geoemtry is in space
The problem is that making a script to calculate the next movement of all these props FROM their original coordinaltes, all of them have the same coordinates.
As example if I have 9 roads in a train and I want to calculate if other props are passing from one road to another. But all the roads have the same position ( 0/0/0) and all the prpos around too ( 0/0/0 ). And none of them are in the same place.![frown frown](http://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/confused_smile.png)
No problem, solved re-passing all the props again from Hexagon in the same location. And then in DAZ moving them to their end positions.
