How to remove content the installer won't?

I've used the uninstaller with good results on most stuff. However, there are some items, the installer won't take out of my daz content directory. How do I remove these items?

    What items are they?

    Why can't you just delete them yourself using Windows explorer if you know what they are?

    Installers will only usually delete the files that it has installed itself, but I don't know why any would be left behind.
