    Hm,

for each set, you have to install the light sources related to the nature of your set.
DAZ out of the box offers some settings.

For outdoors you have the sun-sky and you can adjust the sun by the sun-dial setting by yourself.
Or you may use some HDRI products offered.

For indoors it depends on the lightsources which are given by the assets in the set, i.e. lamps existing in the set. Here you can make their "bulbs" emissiv, using the iray emissive shader or you position some spotlights (like in a photo studio), setting them to photometric.

If you don't want to make experiments by your own, you may spend a lot of money and purchase some of the lighting products.

But by experimenting by your own, you learn the most. And you can discuss your suggestions over here.
That's the way I approached iRay.

  • It depends on what is in your scene, and how you want it to look. Have you experimented with the supplied settings, and with any other settings that may have come with content?
