I didn't realize that! Sometimes I do render something else than pretty (scantily clad) ladies.

Ok, so I played with Darius 7 last night - did just a quickie so I could check him out. I'm not sure I like his fingernails - but I think that's an issue that affects a lot of daz characters from what I've seen. I like the veins option - you can have them on or off. I do wish his moustache wasn't default tho - that there was a hairless option for his face, but that wasn't a dealbreaker. I can deal with that.

Try copying the surfaces of the arms and pasting it into the surfaces tab of the fingernails. I find that it usulaly looks better than the default finger nail settings. At least IMO. :)

OK, Novica et al, I decided to take a stab at redoing some of my reference renders as I had mentioned earlier, and I set up a separate thread to which I could link here. I'll fill it up as time allows, with an effort to fill in any missing characters by trawling your list. Now, lemme see if I can do this correctly (probably not, so bear with me, please).
I suppose that after all this time I should already know this, but ...
To create a link to an image (or post containing an image), I can locate, copy and paste the URL no problem. However, for the sake of Novica being able to simply copy the links directly into her list, how do I replace the URL with the nice blue character name that everyone but me apparently already knows about? I'd prefer not to use trial-and-error. Do I simply type the character name in the body of my post, select that text, then click on the little chain icon in the menu and enter the URL? For example, if I type "XY Character", and select that then click the link icon and enter the URL of the image?
Right. If I want to link to Novica's thread, I would highlight the words Novica's thread, go to the chain link, and enter the URL. BUT IMPORTANT- it has another tab where it says TARGET. Please click that too (once you have the chain open) and choose New Window (_blank) so folks don't leave the thread or the forums when they X out. Sometimes people assume you have done the new window and instead of hitting back, they close the window and poof, they aren't here anymore. It's just common netiquette to always do a new window or new tab when you do a link. Thanks for asking, looking forward to seeing what you've got. I was just thinking two days ago that I have to get back on the characters, but have to finish a couple things first. Thanks for helping!
Oh, and don't worry about duplicates. If you have them, and want to list them, please do. I'll be removing some of my older ones when folks render better ones of them. I'm not removing anyone else's, just mine. Some were quickies to show people when there was a Flash Sale or Fast Grab.

Well, it seems to have worked! Since they were current generation figures I felt obligated to take them over to my main PC and use Iray. My Iray chops, however, aren't quite up to snuff, and my results seemed to get worse with each render!
Anyway, perhaps I'll get around to redoing some as time allows and my skills improve? For the V4 ones I have done, I stuck to 3Delight and so, although they may not be great either, at least they are a little more consistent.
Those are very nice, thank you! Will get added sometime this week. It's going on 5am here and I'm trying to wrap up the new temple renders over in my thread, then grab some zzz's.

Thank you! I had fun doing that scene. I originally aimed my camera straight at her, but Mystic Spells--although a very cool prop--doesn't have a back wall.
Now that I think about it more, I could have just used a plane to create the wall! Oh well, I really like how this angle turned out.

Ok, bet ya thought I forgot about you. I'm working on this thread this weekend, I just spent an hour fixing the lists, taking all the A's-etc off the first post, dropping the lists down (I had reserved a post for when the lists expanded) and regrouped the posts. We had so many L's and F's, so it made sense. I've balanced out how the sections are cut off. So tonight I'm going through and adding all the new ones, and putting NEW by them. I removed all other "New" captions.
If anyone has time to go through the Raining Men or Commons thread (Show Us) to list some guys, that would be helpful. These don't have to be your renders, we're listing characters so folks can see them, so any good forum renders are needed. I do need the complete product name, please check that before you list it. Thanks! I'm getting started on what hasn't been linked yet from here. TTYL

I'm not certain I understand what you mean, Novica. For example, FWSA Xiao Mei is the product name here in the DAZ store, and the FWSA part indicates that it is a product by Fred Winkler Art and Sabby. I added "for A6" to help with your categorization. However, in another example, GiselleV6 for G2F, which is not from the DAZ store, but an affiliate, is listed on that site as Giselle for V4, V5& V6. I omitted the V4 and V5 references since the render was of V6. But certainly no one is going to be able to find that product based upon the name alone if they go looking for it in the DAZ store (because it isn't from the DAZ store). The thread that I started here that "hosts" the images does identify the vendor, but, of course, my links are to the images themselves and not to that thread. Similarly, there are other characters I have listed that are from other stores that may make finding them based on the name alone difficult. An example of this would be the character Alisha for G2F, which is simple called Alisha on the site from which it was purchased. Again, I list the vendor in my thread, but not here.
If asking for the complete product name means providing enough information that people can actually find the product if interested, then really the vendor and source would need to be included in addition to the character name and figure to which it applies. Is that what you are looking for?

Update: On a whim, I tried typing Alisha for G2F into Google and, lo and behold, the link to the product page was third in the list. So maybe they won't be all that hard to find.
The complete product name means instead of saying (and I'm making this up) Sally, if it's FWSA Sally for Genesis 3 Female(s) then put that. I need to know what generation it's for if it's listed, even though I put it as FWSA Sally (Gen3F)
These are supposed to feature the Daz store, to feature the artists selling here. That wasn't stated in the first post, and should be- that is definitely my error, not yours. Any you have submitted that aren't sold here, let me know. My apologies, I really don't like wasting people's time and that mistake definitely did so.
So if you just list the product title as found here, and add who it is for, it will all be translated the same way. For example, if it was Vivian for Genesis 3 as the real title, or just Vivian and you put Vivian for Genesis 3, I'm going to be putting Vivian (Gen3F) regardless. People will be able to find it.
