Daz Studio, Iray Preparing Scene issue

My PC:
Windows 7 x64 SP1
CPU: Intel Core i7 860
RAM: 8 GB
HD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250 GB
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 with 4 GB
Daz Studio:
4.9.2.70 Pro (64 bit)
Is there a way to speed up Daz Studio while "preparing scene"?
This step takes place both when starting a render with Iray as Render Engine and when switching the viewport render from Texture Shaded to Iray.
During this step (that usually takes some minutes - depending on the complexity of the scene):
1) Daz Studio CPU usage is very LOW (about 13%) and the whole CPU usage is about 25%
2) All GPU parameters (monitored through GPU-Z) are very very low (about 5%)...
3) Task Manager only shows that Daz Studio VERY VERY SLOWLY consumes a lot of RAM (without using Disk Virtual Memory)
4) Daz Studio Log says nothing
Then, suddenly, all GPU parameters go up (GPU Load 95/98%, Memory Used, Memory Controller Load, etc) and the iray render in the viewport (or the iray render in a new window) immediately begins...
I suppose that during this step all the scene is transformed by Daz Studio in a way that Iray can "understand" and then copied to the GPU Memory.
And actually Memory Used in the GPU suddenly grows up when preparing scene is finished
But why is the Preparing Scene STEP so SLOW?
What is Daz Studio doing during this STEP?
Why isn't Daz Studio using all the CPU Power (or the GPU Power)?
PS
I tried to use the last Daz Studio Beta, but this issue is still present

You have eight cores (well, four real plus four virtual) and are using 13% of the CPU - 1/8 is 12.5%. The preparation process is apparently single-threaded. Unfortunately that isn't something you can change.
I think you are right, Richard. I (we users) can't change it.
But Daz (or probably Nvidia) surely can...
And it's almost useless to buy the latest GPU (I was going to buy a Pascal 1070) if most of the time is spent during this step...
Reducing texture sizes may help, though that in itself takes time.
Things are much much faster with DAZ Studio 4.11.0.236 BETA!!!
How long is your initialization time compared to the full render? Mine is 90 to 120 seconds versus about 25-30 minutes for the complete render (in a closed room with 4 Genesis 3 figures). Are you saying you spend most of your time in setup?
Though it all depends on the complexity of the scene (four G3 figures will take a lot of time and memory because of all the hi-res textures!), your inizialization time seems very long.
In the Iray Tab, set Optimization to Speed (not Memory) and set the render intent to Iray in the viewport: this way, when you start rendering the inizialization time will be shorter.
This is only for Instances. If you are not using any instances in the scene at all, it wont matter
