Problem with installing the latest version of HeadShot

I am wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I am having with getting HeadShop OneClick (WIN) to install with the Install Manager. I can down load the file to my account, but then it does not install. I get the installation failed message in the Install Manager. When I click the "i" for more information I get this error message:

Could not find local ReadMe for: HeadShot One Click (WIN)

Has anyone experienced this and can you give me some suggestions as to what I can do to get a successful installation. I have DAZ 4.9 and I have not had a problem installing any other product that I have purchaed from the DAZ catalog. I greatly appreaciate anyone's help. Thanks!

Gabe

I believe this needs to be downloaded from your product Library and run directly, or run from the DIM Downloads folder. http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/122371/headshop-oneclick-submitted-to-daz-best-in-class-commercial#latest

  • Richard,

Thanks for the comment. I will give that a try. I appreciate your ideas.

  • And another problem with this product is....... Where the hell is my licence key code ?

I've looked everywhere I can think of but just can't find it.

    Thanks.....

That's what I thought too Richard but it's not there.

  • There is a link to a video on installation in the PA's thread, linked above.

I've now found the licence key, it appeared in 'serial numbers' about an hour after I purchased the product, now I'm having problems getting this product to show up in DAZ Studio even though I have followed the instructions from the .pdf exactly......grrrrrr!

I had the same problem, try changing your workspace, I did that and boom, it showed up.

No, I'm afraid that has also failed to make 'OneClick' appear and in fact it's not even showing up in my 'installed plugins' list in the help menu.

  • How can I get my money back with Headshot until Daz fixes the issue? The concept of an install manager was to make everything easy. I got HS with Victoria 7, 8 days ago as deal. V7 installed flawlessly. I sent an email to support regarding the problem with Headshot, 8 days ago. Silence, no reply. I don't get it.

thanks for the workspaces comment. To get it to show for me, I had to go into Window->Workspace->Customize.  Then under the Actions tab on the left, open up the Edit tree and find "Start Headshop...". On the right side, switch to the Menus tab and then open up the Main Menu tree, then Edit tree. Now drag the "Start Headshop..." from the actions over to the Edit Menu tree on the right. Click Accept and you should see it on the Edit Menu Now. Don't forget to save your workspace.

Hope that helps. Not sure why they don't include information like that in their install PDF.
