Final attempt of mine...reiterating what Jabba said...are you sure you look in the right place on Daz Studio?
If you use the > content library (NOT smart content) make sure to look under > "Poser Formats/...".
    That`s all I got ;)

I use multiple runtimes, sort content according to my own categories, and then point Studio at the different content libraries once as DAZ content, and once as Poser content, and then switch between them as needed. I also install everything manually. Not even a hint of a problem here.

As I do, the solution then is to put this Runtime into another separate, point it there and should work.
Problem is that there are other similar products from vendor, all appear, all work
This one is the same and does not appear.

Installed files manually, used dim to install, possibilty of two installations.
If I delete all the files, run the risk of compromising that which works.

Also if I create a separtate Runtime ( since I have over 20 this is not that big an issue) would have the
nagging doubt that product "would have run better" had it been properly installed.

My biggest concern is that all the others appear and work fine.
I know, for a fact that the installation was done correctly
Have searched using all criteria even found a few duplicates of other products....

Am going to go over previous products to see the differences

Perhaps you can advise what others did not namely what is the name and location for the preloaded file?????.

Have the thought if I can open it, can save it as a default and work from there
Thank you for the suggestion and your time

If it was acting like that for me, I'd try re-downloading and reinstalling and letting the new files overwrite the old ones. But it sounds like you've already done that.

Here's what's in the .zip file, which is as far as I needed to dig. I didn't need to get inside any of the folders of the individual product, just dragged the folders into the various FM_EasyEnvironments folders, where they already were in the Runtime folder.

I'm assuming that the Manifest file is something that the DIM uses, so I just throw those away.

The support files I just drag loose into the Support folder in the Runtime folder.

Sorry probably my fault the way I phrased the question.
In all of these products there is listed a preloaded scene that contains everything.
Skybox, rocks. girls with bikinis, garbage trucks, etc, there is also choices to load items
    separately.
In poser for instance you have the name of the file you load it, it is there, if a file is missing
it is announced at start up.

What I am looking for is the name of the preloaded file that contains the scene, if the file cannot find an item I can aim it there
( getting very familiar with these files).

    {Have copies and pasted the contents of the installation package about 5 times now.}

If you can load the scene what is its name?

    Thank you

    Addendum.
    Deleted all files from DAZ
    Deleted installation files .
    Redownloaded installation files
    Unzipped.
Copied Runtime folder to Poser Pro 2014.
    Actually got scene
Pointed DAZ to this runtime, worked
Total of about 5 hours wasted.
    Easy Environment my ass!!!
    Nice Boat!

Delicate mix of rude and funny.
I am too exhausted to think of a proper reply, so let`s stick to "cheers, it finally works, and I am glad you like the boat!".

lol thanks, took me long enough to build it, it`s almost embarrassing ;)

    @ bicc39
Ye, sucks to waste that much time on stupid issues, I am sorry it happened with a set of mine.
Allow me to add, I doubt it had anything to do with the set itself though, since it seems to work for everyone else out of the box :/

Agree totally, as I also mentioned, have your other sets which worked great, which is why
I had no hesitation in buying this one.
Time that was wasted was my problem, like a dog pulling on a rag,
Devoted much more time than was warranted. Very stubborn by nature

Have noticed the people that do this type of thing share that eccentricity

Part of the time wasted was ,however, slightly influenced by the quality of the first products.

Don't forget, also, the time spent by you and the other member who tried to help.

Guess a lot of people didn't go away for the weekend

Hate to say this, but I have the feeling it ain't resolved yet.

Like to ask a favor of you or anyone who stumbles across this thread, if you find the same
problem and a solution, please post it.

I'll be fishing on my new boat.

Quick update on the Install Manager issue.
Daz mailed me saying there is indeed a small issue that may cause it to not show up in DIM for some users.
They try to fix it asap.

Thank you, mine turned up this afternoon. (I'd already downloaded it from Product Library, but pleased to see it turn up "the right way" too)

    Hi there!

Here`s some previews for the next Easy Environments set "Outback".
I hope those who asked for the theme didn`t die of age yet. ;)

Actually I wanted to name the set a tad more unspecific, since I think it could also pass as american western style thing, but I paniced about hurting some Aussie feelings with inappropriate naming (uninitiated european, can`t be careful enough...). ;)

    Anyway, hope you like it!

    Dragons!

The grown-ups had told her that there are no dragons anymore.
She didn't want to believe it and asked again and again, getting the same answer again and again.
But there came a day when she met the old Margaret. She was very, very old and remembered the dragons. The old Margaret told her they had gone to the Rock. The Rock that was so far out in the bay that you could barely see it in the haze.
As she was a dauntless little girl, she took her little boat and rowed, and rowed, and rowed a long time, until she finally reached the Rock.
There they were! Dragons! Dragons flitting around and frolicking in the air!
Seeing she was only a little girl meaning no harm, they didn't hide from her.
    Dragons!

Please don't ask me for the coordinates of the Rock or the name of the bay, I have given a solemn promise not to tell.
What I am allowed to tell you is the name of the little girl. Her name is Eliza and she likes her red hair.

    A belated apology.
If you will look in the beginning of this thread I had outlined a problem with
"The Rock" appearing in DAZ Studio.
Recently had a problem with all content appearing and some menus such as Surface Preset
    not working.
Should add that I had links to over 20 Runtimes with loads of content.
In any case, today I deleted all the Runtime links in the DAZ Beta Version.
All DAZ content appeared immediately ( some I forgot I had).
In the group of "magically appearing content" was the Rock.
Wish to apologize to all who tried to help me with a situation that was entirely my fault.
My deepest apology goes to the artist of whom I may have implied, made an inferior product.
I regret any inconvenience I might have caused.
( Kept the links in the newer DAZ Studio)

    Better late than never >
Awesome render (and story) Kerya, sorry I forgot to say my thanks for posting it earlier.
Reminded me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80sMpIY6pBs (obvious one, right?), which I loved when I was a child.

Thread renamed to Outback, somehow I must have screwed that up last time. ;)

I have them all so far. Excited to know there'll be a couple more. Depressed to know there'll only be a couple more.

That's wicked! Will that be one of the PA items in the PC Anniversary this month?

Also, speaking as an Australian myself, I'm pretty hard to ruffle. The word 'outback' isn't going to offend!

That's only because you've never heard their commercials. (Outback Steakhouse is a chain of restaurants here with a "highly convincing" Australian theme and terrible, terrible advertising.)

It looks great, and I'll buy it. These sets have been amazing for my promos - so flexible and useful to be able to just toss a great-looking skybox in there instead of trying to composite in a photo in post that may or may not be from the right angle. I'd like to add how much I appreciate the DAZ presets auto-loading so that I don't have to run around finding and applying separate .dsa or .duf mats.

DAZ products of mine (and Fuseling's) that used EE sets in their renders so far:

    Greenlands and Winter: http://www.daz3d.com/petal-fae-genesis

Greenlands + Eternal Sands skybox: http://www.daz3d.com/articles-of-punishment

There are others that are still in testing or held for release. ;)
