Do you know some cats like bacon?

Also if you work at a place that sells bacon burgers and bacon chicken sandwiches, do not tell your boss that your cats like bacon because he would think that you took some of the store's bacon home to feed it to the cats.

Now Micah is playing with the string attached to my camera. Guess he wants something to eat or something.

Yeah I did know some cats eat bacon. I had one that did but she preferred venison.

Micah is probably jealous about not getting (maybe what he thinks) enough attention.

My cats play with string all the time, anything that has something dangling that looks liike string, shoe laces, cords from a coat, the cord that pulls the blind up, anything that they can bat around.

They even have their favourite piece of string (well cord really) which they carry around from place to place, and hide from each other. We found another piece, so they could have one each, but the new piece is ignored, they prefer the old piece, which looking somewaht the worse for wear.

It's fun to watch cats play like that.

A friend of mine had a cat that would literally play tag with her kids.

One of the female cats I had, chased off a coyote once. And like I posted once before about the other female would sit on the riding lawnmower seat while I worked on them.

Cats are fun but I'm allergic to them. 8-/

Yeah, totally. I ahve always had cats, my Mum and Dad alwasy had cats. Been a while since I have had young cats though, we lost our last one when he was turned 18. The two I have now came from a rescue place, they are sisters and the refuge didn't want them separated as they are very dependant on each other. I think the smaller of the two was possibly the runt of the litter, and the other likes to know where she is. They are sort of teenage catlings now, not quite full grown andd very lively and great fun when they have mad play sessions.

Melody is off eating, I have started to heat up the oven. I think I will go check on the kittens while Melody is in the kitchen. I am not going to touch them but just look at them.

At least you have twice the fun with both of them.

Been thinking about getting a pet but I'll have to go with a short haired dog like a doberman.

You might be able to touch them while she is with them. Just pet her at the same time.

Why don't the kittens have ears like their mother or father? They have real small ears.

They start out small (so they won't get stuck inside mommy -- just kidding). Then, all of the sudden, the ears just pop out and become huge for a while. (Not kidding -- this happens.)

My babies had small ears at birth but they soon had those Ears too big for my head kind. I think it all depends on the breed.

If there is a way to get lower, I'm sure you guys would be able to figure it out.
