inspired by The Hawkeye Initiative

Just like in real life, there are a lot more clothes and accessories for Vicky (women) than Mike (men). Genesis has leveled the playing field - now you can dress your figures in whatever clothing you want. So post your renders of male characters in your favorite female clothes and poses.

Please note: this is not a complaint thread or a political statement. It's all meant in good fun.

    tee hee. does the Brock bulge morph magnet work in the new DS?
    it would help gentrify some of those, unless he's wearing a gender bender.

    there are 2 bulge morphs for Genesis that can work, but it looks weird if the bottom clothes don't cover it.

    you also need to be mindful of TOS involving picture posting

    I do find it interesting the discussions of how the Hawkeye Initiative has been gaining ground while the site that inspired it (Escher Girls) has gotten less attention despite being around longer. Granted there's no genuine ill will between the two so maybe one will succeed where the other hasn't. Oh well.

    the Brock magnet is for the clothes. or have i been using it wrong? :)


    the problem with it is stretching the geometry can ruin the texture details.

    Sorry, I misunderstood, With Genesis and autofit, the figure's bulge will carry over to the clothing.

    Totally my kind of thread!
    I have a render here I made to test if the winked outfit would work on men...it's M5 though and I set him up in a few min. so the quality is a little meh ;)

    After I found this thread I just HAD to render a new michael in skimp wear!
    I again used a part of the Wicked outfit as I also don't have a lot of woman wear.
    The title was an idea of Michael himself:

    "Are we done here, because it's friggin cold."

    Yeah, he never was a very poetic man to begin with.

    It's going to be interesting to see how this thread turns out.

    First image is Marius D3 by Jepe, GenX'd, in Sickleyield's Ophidia Sandals, the Supercape, and the Evil Innocence Fantasy Huntress for V4, autofitted. (Technically, I think it's armor. Technically.) I actually used it seriously (...sort of) in an image, where I just flipped everything on its head. The woman was leading the party and was in full armor, and all of the men were in varying versions of Very Impractical Clothing For A Battle. The outfit has been a bit doctored for this thread -- the "panty" does not normally come up anywhere near that high in front, but it does also come with a boatload of morphs. In its natural state, the panty comes up just above the base of his unTOSables.

    Second image: "Nightshayde with Belladonna" (couldn't resist the pun) is a F3/F4/M5 Hero combination with Dave Elite texture, wearing Nightshayde for Genesis and holding MJC's belladona plant while running out of Merlin's Monument. He's also doing The Twist -- the wildly improbable pose that women on posters and comic book covers wind up in to show both their behinds and their chests at the same time. Had to turn limits off to make it even doable. Looks very painful, that does.

    the David3 genesis wearing Delirium :)

    i tried adding M4's displacement map. couldn't remember where to change the uvs setting. it came out looking like frosting.

    I'm SickleYield, and I approve this thread.


    Definitely all in good fun - after all, to use these outfits this way, we have to have bought them. We're not going to shell out for outfits we don't like. I especially have always been impressed with the excellent base meshing on B25's Roxana - I've never been unhappy with an outfit by him/her in terms of quality, and look how well this conforms to a morph it wasn't meant to support (even the crotch-ankh didn't clip).


    Presenting Michael 5, the prettiest vampire. I promise to use some of my own work in the next one. :-D
