You all are so creative ! Very good month !

I hope this qualify. He is framing her face.

It qualifies perfectly xmasrose.. ;)  Hands and fingers make a great frame... (winks)... Thanks for sharing this tender moment with us.  Looks photorealistic with the grain.. Was that using a filter or rendered in Iray?

Today I have seen three wonderful renders, a tender and loving moment, a well illuminated drumer, and a greeneyed peeping Thomasina. It dosn't get much better.

Well it may... still a few peeps left to post their renders.  lol.  Glad you are liking this thread Dee :)

Wow, some great renders this month! I love the last three also.

I love the mushroom-head drummer reflection. So unique.

XmasRose, that is an exceptional render in so many ways! I especially love the ambient light and the focus. The tears are wonderful too.

    I am glad it qualifies.

The grain is coming from the Nik filter.  I used Color Efex Pro 4 : Film Efex Vintage. I felt otherwise my render was too clean, too perfect looking.

So many different ways to "frame" something.  And all different.

@nattaruk - I saw this in the Gallery.  Very creative.  I love the perspective.

@xmasrose - Such a tender moment.  I agree it looks like an old photo.

@Llola Lane - I love images that feature the eyes.  This one is exceptional.

Can you share a linky to the filter??? Never heard of it before.  I have Paint Shop Pro 7... can I use it there?  What program is it in?  Soooo many questions.. sorry.. I have a lot to learn about postwork :)

Thank you very much @luci45, @Kismet2012

The Nik filters are owned by Google and free since 2016. Here is the link : https://www.google.com/nikcollection/.

Not sure you can use it with PSP 7 but it seems to work fine with PSP8. If you have Photoshop Elements it should work fine.

I don't have any recent version of PSP so I can't try for you. I used CorelPaint for years but recently switched to Photoshop CS6.

This is a render?!  Xmasrose, you totally rock! the detail on the skin, his hands and her face, the light settings, the DOF, I'm in awe!

Now I don't want to miss out on that eye artwork Llola, the way to focus on the eye and it looks directly back is very nice

And the choice of frame for that mushroohead drummer is very creative lots of detail with the shadow and the ceiling, great work! Now we need a band called the mushroomheads heart

@Linwelly you made my day ! Thank you !

The link to the gallery with the products listing : https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/images/366941

Her skin is Cailin (with N.G.S. Anagenessis Revolution) and the normal map from the Eva 7 texture. His skin is Elijah7 out of the box.

The tears are postwork I could not get them to look right otherwise and was running out of time.

Amazing new entries, well done all!

Also, nothing wrong with taking things literally, is there?

I hate it when my muse does that...maybe yours and mine ran off somewhere together on vacation.  Mine has been gone for quite some time now.

    Nice frames.

Love the frames. There is somthing about dark rimmed glasses, dark skirt and heels, add a white blouse with a top button or two open, a smile and a library card and

    ... never mind...

    very nice render SimonJM.

I think the kitteh is hiding behind the eagle. Or possibly riding it? And I agree with the awesomeness of everyone's renders! Great job!

That is a great librarian made exactly to order. My second choice would have the lowest open button buttoned but stretched to the limits. A hard leather covered book in hand, Natural Science or World History would be fine, but a Grimoire would be a real good fit. Also I like the skirt best but form fitting tight legged black slacks would be acceptable.

I added the NIK Collection in GIMP plugins. It works great. I think, if I new anything about photography or postwork it may work better. I need to YouTube some videos.

As my muses was AWOL for most of the month, I've run out of time to do the "framed" I had planned, so instead I've whipped up something else quickly. An urgent message, that sort of is framed...

If that wasn't enough with bad jokes, I'll also give you the joke I was going to base my original render on. How did they catch the art thief? - He got framed
