I really enjoy how well Carrara can handle all of them - animating each of them individually. Yes, their suits all share the same shaders, but they're all very individual beings in their own right. In the previous session, the one I didn't keep, I also had three of Kibaretto's Watchtower figures, each with three to five figures on their outer observation decks - it also had a lot more figures and the smaller NRH Dragonfly starships. Instead of natural terrain like this one, I used Faveral's awesome Castle Creator to turn the whole thing into a reconstructed Medieval site. It was HUGE!

It looked really cool, but it wasn't the type of thing I was actually looking for - which is really what I am getting here so far. I did mess up in a few places on the modeled terrain that covers Olympus Mons, but we'll never see those issues, so I don't care! ;)

It was fun to make, fun to UV Map, and fun to make the shader for it.

What is kinda fun is that the camera angle never changed. Even though the Marcoor is now lifted slightly in order for the engines to clear the ground as they rotate, flicking back and forth between the two images (actually five images for me, since I have several saves) really shows how it has grown

Funny. We won't actually see much of this. It's all just for a few short shots.

Stezza, congratulations on your Honorable Mention award in the contest!  Well-deserved, as usual.  A brilliant render.  Should have been in the top 3, IMO.

Thanks UB.... I did get first in that challenge a couple of years ago... still trying for the overall one... it's one of my favourite comps I look forward to each year, Ken does a great job in promoting birds and wildlife with his models  yes

I've been annoying him for years to make an emu model... no success yet devil

Used Hivewire house cat with Carrara fur.

Great job on the hair. Like how it doesn't simply show a flat landscape... appears more lifelike.

Everything about this is ridiculously good.  You are a master at inserting "extra things" into scenes which compliment rather than distract.
