Strange email from Daz

Serial-numbers required

Remaining number of available serial-numbers is .

Does anyone have an idea what they might be referring to?

    Quite a few of us have been getting that email with no idea why.

    Have not bought LAMH yet.

    Yes I did, but that was back on 12/20/2012.

    I got that email too. But I have not bought anything recently requiring serial numbers, just some outfits and hair. Regular stuff, not the kind that needs any plugins, so I guess that's not it. Weird.

    I guess I beat everyone. I got over 61 of them as well as a "PANIC" attack. I still hadn't had a whole cup of coffee. Glad I am not alone.

    I posted in the other thread too (http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/235561/) but will mention it here also...

    I was getting those too a month or two back and finally contacted tech support. I was told those are sent to certain staff to notify them when new serial numbers for products are needed or something along those lines, I forget the exact reply about it. They told me they are sent from a special mailing list and my email somehow got onto that list. If you contact tech support they can remove yoru email from that list and hopefully if enough people write in about the problem they will look into why people keep getting added to it in the first place.
