can you convert dynamic clothing into conforming clothing?

I searched, and didn't see anything dealing with this. I would like to take a dynamic shirt, drape it on my figure, and then turn the result into a conforming figure. Is that possible?

Curious mind has to ask WHY? The idea of dynamic clothing is that it produces much more realisitic fitting and draping than conforming clothing.![](http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/confused/yellow-smiley-confused-emoticon.gif)
Hide everything but the dynamic clothing, export as OBJ, import using the same preset (to keep the scale correct) and rig using the transfer utility. For best results work with the figure zeroed (no pose or morph applied) though it is possible to compensate for those.
Thanks for the responses. The answer to why is that it's part of a larger animation, and I need the shirt to drape for one part, then I need to replace it with a conforming shirt that maintains it's shape for the next part. Richard, I've tried exactly what you suggest, but didn't have much luck, I think because I need to keep the figure it's conforming to posed. I'll continue to flail about and see if I can make it work. BTW, I think somewhere along the line I discovered that it wasn't enough to hide the superfluous pieces when saving the .obj...I had to delete everything but what I wanted.
By default anything invisible should not export to OBJ.
