Sending to ZBrush...

Hello fellow enthusiasts =)

hey... is it just me, or is something wrong when sending figures to zbrush. they lose their material and group zones, making the process useless?!? are there any options that can be adjusted to fix this, or is there some other benefit i may not be aware of.

or can some others share their workflow process? I'm curious...

    Are you sending as obj or GoZ?

    I use obj and export with sufaces.  I believe, with GoZ, you can use Polygroups>Autogroup with uvs.

  • Yes, GoZ is pretty much set up only for morphs - neither material nor bone groups are transferred.

  • I was and have been using the regular export as object, wanted to see how using GoZ was.....

    Thanks. Was hoping to use it staright out the box, but its no biggie at all.
