Does DS allow this?

Is it possible to take a part(s) from one character and add to another. For example. Let's say say there is an ape and you want to add a tail or more monkey like digits to their hands or feet from a seperate figure... Is it possible in Daz Studio or do you need to do it in Hexagon, 3D Studio, Maya or other program. OR can you do this like the way Genesis makes alterations - I take via scripts or some type of programing.
