Removing Icons

Hey guys, a question: How do you remove icon images from rendered images? I have seen many forum threads on this topic and people are saying to save them to a folder other than the default "Render Library" folder and let me say that that does absolutely nothing cause you still get icon images of the rendered images. See, I'm making a comic and I have a folder where I save all my images to that i render for this comic I'm making and yesterday, I made like 30 rendered images and when i went to my comic's folder to add text to them, I had 30 images plus 30 icon images.

Also, recently I had to reset my computer cause my computer was slowing down due to how much gb were used on it. However, before that, when I saved rendered images (And they were saved to a separate folder apart from "render library", but of course I never tried saving them to render library either), I never got icon images. So how do I fix this?

The folder you save to must not be in a Render Library at all. Click the icon next to the library at the the bottom of the render window, then pick Folder from the menu that opens.

Yeah, that is a real pain.... Took me like a month to figure out where the heck the "icon files" were even coming from when I set my artwork folder as a render library. Gigs of artwork having icons popping up, I was pulling my hair out.
