Dayum. This armor looks incredible on some Warhammer 40,000 style.

I want it and I do have a MALE character that would wear this. I'm willing to lose the bra, so is there anyway I could get this onto a male character?

I know auto-fit will probably ask who, "Who is this For" and I will be saying Genesis Female...and see what happens..then full bodysuit.

Anyone do this from time to time or is that a very bad idea?

Some risk is work it, but this could turn out very bad for me. lol.

Anyone else see this?

Plam B is to hunt for a male equivalent, but I haven't seen anything yet. And the vendor only has this line in his catalogue.

What have you done?

What would you do?

  • It's a good idea, when a product comes out to look if the creator has made a commercial thread.  They will monitor them.

  • Thanks! I'll post this in there!

  • Seems like autofit would do a pretty good job

Depending on what exactly you're after, Autofit can be very problematic with things like armor. It has a tendency to ignore rigidity zones, which means you can sometimes get stretchy armor that bends when it shouldn't. Not always, but frequently enough to note. If you have Cross-Figure, that might be a better way to work. If you don't, then run with Autofit and pose carefully!

Also, "full bodysuit" for everything is maybe not the best idea, because that actually isn't a bodysuit and may lead to more bending than handling them separately might. Ignoring the bra for the moment, the legwarmers (... legwarmers?) should be Pants, the gauntlets are Gloves (I think that outer armor on the gauntlets may not tolerate autofit without bending), the belt ... well, either Pants or Full-Body, but there almost certainly will be stretching and deformation of the rigid pieces; the Shoulders with Cape I would probably just SmartProp/parent to the figure, myself -- it looks like you can have the shoulder pads with or without cape, but you can't have the cape without the shoulder pads, so it can't be handled separately.

... My, but those are some EPIC shoulder pieces!

As far as something made for males, I can't find anything even vaguely approximating the sheer bulk of it all. The closest I can find, stylistically, is K-Warrior for G2M , which doesn't have Shoulder Pieces Of DOOOM! or a cape. Plus it's G2M, so even if that were stylistically what you want, you're still stuck sending it through autofit or some such to get it to G3M.

    Hope this is helpful.

  • I mentioned this in the commercial product thread and someone else suggested 'yes, go for it and had a link to a  render using a male figure.

I grabbed it and tried. Auto-fit asked a bunch, but I've seen this before where the crucifix pose has the arms slightly forward and throws off the fit.

I think unparenting, moving and re-parenting should get the glove over the hand.

This does open up some possibilities- namely being able to break the 'for him' 'for her' lock besides obvious gender-specific garments.
