Certain Updates will not update

I recently reinstalled Studio on my laptop. I install using Install manager and Daz Connect. I have several updates showing in Studio that when I select "install update", it looks like they update, but they do not. They still show in the updates tab. I am running Studio Public Build Beta. Here are the updates that will not update:
Carhop for Genesis Female
The Central Districy Subway
Corset Hat
A Curious Tea: Drink Me
Denver Hair
Genesis 2 Starter Essentials
Genesis Starter Essentials
Holiday Accessories
IDG Portrait Studio
The SteamBoat Machine
Yuletide Treasure Tree 2011
Any ideas of why this is so?

Which version of the beta? Until about the last (4.9.3.166) I was having trouble with big files - mainly HD morphs and HDR maps - timing out, and so the product showing as needing an update. This was because I had a "slow" (7Mbs) connection. You can check your version in Help>About Daz Studio.
My version is 4.9.3.166 and my internet connection speed is 30Mbps.
Well, not the issue I was seeing then. Have a look at the end of the log (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log) after attempting to apply one of the updates.
Well, here is some of the log in trying to install an update to Genesis Starter Essentials:

Well, the curl errors are what I was getting - but the previous line was a timeout error. I think this may need a support ticket to resolve.
Thanks. I have submitted a support ticket.
So, is anyone other than me having issues with Daz Connect? The download is very slow; once downloaded, some items still appear as not downloaded. I have not experienced this in the past. I have a 30mbps download speed, so that should not be the issue. I am running Daz Studio 4.9..the latest public beta. This is really annoying because I have many products that are connected to Daz Connect.
The store was having problems yesterday. I don't know if that could also have affected Daz Connect. Have you tried it again today? Is the problem still occurring?
Merged threads.
I'm seeing the same excessive slowdown too along with installations failing ad all. Why is this program so slow?
Yes, it is getting real frustrating! I keep getting notices of my products needing updates, within Studio, and they just will not update. I do have a ticket in about this isuue, but so far they have not come up with an answer. I even have installs through Connect that will not install.
I've had this problem for a while now, with the 4.9.3.166 beta, it simply hangs when downloading large files. Thankfully, the full release doesn't have that issue, and I can download products, but it did get frustrating. The problem is, specifically, a timeout issue, but it remains to be seen if and when DAZ will correct it.
Ok, this is getting real frustrating and I think some of it is that I cannot install much on C drive due to it being a SSD (solid state drive) of 228 GB. So I am installing the content and Daz Connect to my D drive of 1 gb. Besides the issues of Daz Connect not giving me the updates and it sems that my ticket in the help center has gone by the wayside; meaning it appears that Daz has given up on helping me. I have the DIM set to the same directories as I have in the pointing of the content within Studio. I still have products that indicate that they are not installed. I look atr the file location and it points to the Connect directory even though DIM puts it into my Daz Library. This Daz Connect is starting to annoy me. So, maybe I should uninstall everything and start over? If this being the case...where is the optimal areas to install the data and the Daz Connect Directory, but on my D Drive? What directory names should be used and what are the directory names and their heiarchy on the drive? Maybe that is the issue...but my Studio program is a real mess!!
