Colm's Monochrome Iray question

Can anyone tell me whether or not you can render a pre-lighted scene in Monchcrome with this product?
I am not talking about a studio lighting condition. I'm talking about taking a regular scene like:

And getting a Monochrome Result with it? Does anyone know if this package can be used for something like that?

Yes, I think so. The monochrome look does not come from special props or lights. It´s "just" render settings. If you like to experiment you can try monochrome images without any addidional product. Just go to the "Tone Mapping" section in the Iray render settings and it is all there. E.g. turn down the Saturation value to zero, and your image will be black & white. Play with the other settings to achieve special looks.
Thanks. I had an idea in my head I wanted to try out, but it depended on whether or not you could do black and white for other iray scenes and not just for portraits
I was thinking of doing some film noir
