Smart content filter for partial poses! argh!!!!

Just wondering if there is a filter to remove partial poses from the smart content.

Example i have my figure selected and I click on smart content, then click on poses, then click on function, I then click on standing. Insteaed of gettinhg the 100 standing poses i own, i get a list of over 600 partial poses, mixed in with the 100 or so full body standing poses.

I appreciate the time and effort certain vendors take to create all these partil poses, and yes they can be quite usefull. But now all they are doing is killing the ability to use the smart content function.

So does anyone know of a way to fix this?

I agree. I usually just select the drop down arrows in the smart content pane and use the full body selector. Not ideal but it does save a few clicks.

Did you try "filter" ?   if  pose  product meta-data correctly set key-words already, (Fullbody or paritialbody, and Standing etc) Filter work well.

1, set Filter  as "Standing && Full Body" in your smart content top pane. (I usually use tag to check key words) pic1

    2. save the Filter, (you may test , set path and filter name, then see how it work, you can modify or delete test filter when you need)

3  just select Filter from drop down menu which you saved.

Though it depend on the product metadata. if each pose file not tagged,, may not work.  I may add my tag, or make new category,

as sub category of Full body,  when I need. then save it as user-data and user-made category.

And I think if I only set , keywords "Full Body" or "key::Full Body" may not work as it is expected,,

because it seems gather if pose files tagged (and cateogrized) as "Full Face" and "Partial Body" , seems pick them too.

maybe pick "Full" from "Full Face" and pick body From "Partial body"  I think it may need to report.

Then you may better to use with "Standing" or "Stting" etc to filter more stricltly if you use keywords "Full Body"

all keywords include space seems have same problem. or I do not know if there is way to set key words with "space"

I can confirm,, if I add "Full Body" and "Face" as new key words for one pose,  then filter by "Full Face" smart content pick the pose (it is not Face pose )

Don't you also have a section By Region => Full Body?

Edit: Never mind, that obviously doesn't work because it would mix everything else into this huge section as well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this, I just setup a bunch of filter and saved them!!! This really speeds things up...

She Ruser,  yes,, smart content > category  need to be considered , to use filter more flexible.

If I select  category "Full body" it not show assets which tagged as  "Full Face" and "Partial body"

then use Filter "key::Standing" with Category selection, (Full body)   it only show  Assets which have key-words as "Standing" in (Full body) category. it is different , when I filter Asset by multiple key words "Standing" &&(and)  "Full body" with Pose category selection.

use smart content category selection, to decide categry,  then use Filter , it work more flexible. (but consider, this space problem too)
