Does Daz Studio have a "Pin" function?

I'm very experienced with Carrara but not haven't used Daz Studio that much. I have a project which needs something stuck to someone's face and I want it to follow not only the broad movements of the head but also to follow the skin where it is attached through a number of expressions, so smiles, frowns etc.  Simply parenting the object to the head will follow head turns but not expressions, so I thought that may using the Transfer Utility would work - but the following of the skin where it is attached is still not good.

Carrara has a free plugin called Pin (from Sparrowhawke3D) which allows you to Pin an object to the surface of another object, and it will follow it through any deformations so I can use this to get the effect that I want in Carrara, but I need this to use Genesis 3 Female which Carrara does not support. So my question is - is there a function or plugin for Daz Studio which does something similar? Or is there another way around this?

Thanks for any help.

If you rig the item as a figure it will auto-follow morphs (but remember that most of the Genesis 3 expressions are bones in the face - Transfer utility will try to project their wweights into the new figure but they are conmplex enough that the results may be variable). Alternatively a Rigid Follow Node can be added to the figure and your item parented to that - it will then move with the skin but not deform. I'm not sure which is closer to what you want.

Move with the skin without deforming will be fine - many thanks, I will need to investigate the Rigid Follow Node. Any advice on where it is and how to set it up?

Further to my last question, I have worked out how to create a Rigid Follower Node on the face and have an object parented to that. It works fine in the scene, so huge thanks for getting me this far!

However if I try to save that separately (the Node with the object parented to it) and then reload it onto a new figure, I get the Rigid Follower Node OK and it follows the face, but the object is not included in the file.  Is there a way to save both and re-apply them to a new figure?

I'm not sure - a Wearables preset would be my immediate suggestion.
