merging folders in win10

i have been messin with trying to install some 3rd party content and having problems with it.

i have watched several videos on adding 3rd party content, and have added it in the past on win7

now i have win10 on my computer and when i try to install the same 3rd party content instead of getting the

option to merge the folders i get copy to or move to as a choice no merge folders option at all. i have

tried right clicking and dragging and left clicking and dragging with the same results. if i choose

either of those 2 options only half my content ends up working, the content i move first is the only content that

will function correctly and the rest get error mesages. is there a different way i should be adding the 3rd party content

in win 10? i am at a loss here, i am not super experienced with daz but trying to learn how to add content correctly.

any help anyone can give me would really be appreciated, as the only tutorials i can find for adding 3rd party content

are made with win7.  thanks in advance for your time in helping me solve my issue

You don't get asked if you want to Merge but in fact that si what Windows 10 does by default. If the content isn't working make sure you aren't choosing to rename folders (should you be asked) and that you copying the right levels of the folder tree.
