Eastern Beauty is a collection of four custom head shapes for Genesis to compliment your Asian styled textures for not much coin. :)
Included are two morphs which are more on the petite side and two with a bit fuller features though all are equally gorgeous in their own right. They require nothing more than Genesis to be used so you may mix and match with other shapes, dials, or use as they are. The morphs have made their way through QA and will be packaged and in the store sometime in the near future. I would love to see what you guys come up with and how they are used once released. The product is DSON compatible so they can be used with the importer as well.

I am also putting a list here for textures and products used in the promos:
Promo 1:
Texture: Manami
Outfit: Miyu
Hair: Actual Hair

Promo 2:
Texture: Briallen with a slight change; diffuse color on everything except eyes and inner mouth was changed to 255, 243, 194
Outfit: Gala V5
Hair: Gregoria Hair

Promo 3:
Texture: Amaterasu
Outfit: Oxygen by AlfaSeed (can't find the link to it in DAZ's Store)
Hair: Akaste Hair

Promo 4:
Texture: Nishta
Outfit: Dragon Rage
Hair: Victoria 5 Elite Ponytail Hair

Poses used were modified slightly, but were from both Subtle Poses for V5 and Timeless Beauty Portraits

As always, Thanks so much for looking :)

Thank you both so much for the wonderful compliments. :)

I tried to get a range of looks and with these to (hopefully) provide something for everyone. Should you want more of an anime style, they do mix well with slight touches of Hitomi, A4, etc. to bring them a little exaggeration to the eyes and soften features up a bit.

Ok, so with the added time before release, an idea popped (pun intended :P) into my head on Friday and worked like mad all weekend. I've put together a companion to these morphs (though not just limited to them, as they are done with the basic female morph to start). Inspired mainly from J-Pop/K-Pop I'm happy to say that the companion will be Eastern Beauty POP! Poses. There are 16 poses and mirrors with emphasis placed on hands and hand placement (full bodied poses). Below are a few of them, but I will be posting more as we get a bit closer to release.

They range anywhere from silly to cutesy and a couple that will fit perfectly into Valentines Day coming up. :) Although expressions are not included, they are done in these using either Expressive for Genesis, Evolution Expressions, or a combination of the two. It was a fun project and one that I would love to explore more if there is enough interest (poses, expressions, etc.). Anyways, below are five of them (heart, V sign, surprise, pillow, and confused) out of the 16.

Question . . . DS 4.0 AND DS 4.5, or are these for DS 4.5 only?

These are both DS 4.5. If needed though, I can go through and make backwards compatible files.

That's very generous of you to offer, though I wouldn't want you to go through a lot of time and trouble in doing so. I'm still using DS 4.0 Pro for a number of reasons, and don't know when I'll be upgrading DS 4.5, so DUF format only products aren't in my near future.

These are lovely though, and if I do upgrade to DS 4.5, I will be sure to get them. ;-)

Not too much trouble. The morphs are a little tricky (no way to easily save backwards in 4.5), but poses shouldn't be a problem whatsoever.

Thanks for these!! I never use any packaged body morphs since I have my own, but always looking for distinct faces for genesis and these are great, Like the poses also.

    Quick render to say thanks.
Uses morph 2 at .70 combined with 2 of my own custom morphs. Texture is Daiyu

Fantastic! Thank you so much I love it :) That was part of the goal with these to give them a little flexibility while also working on their own. Working on Genesis only (although I still love working with V4) opens up a lot more avenues for everyone to sort of be involved and add their own touches. Thank you again and would love to see more. :)

I am a newbie and have bought a copy of Eastern Beauty. Upon running the exe file, i realise it produces a number of dsf files. Can someone enlighten me the installation and the use of these files?

Hi, I can help you with that hopefully. :)

Once you install the head morphs, when you load Genesis they can be found in the shaping tab under "Head/Female/Real World/Eastern Beauties." There you should see four different options for head. Slide any of them up to 1 for the full morph and you should be good to go. Hopefully this helps and if not, either respond here, or send me a PM and I can try to help you further.

    Thanks so much,

Thank you so much for your prompt reply!
    It works in Daz 3d.

May I know how to get it works in Poser?
Likewise, may I know how to get Minami works in Poser too?

(pls excuse my ignorance as I am very new to Poser and Daz and i need them for an urgent project. I did google but was overwhelmed with too much irrelevant information.)

Ok, I could locate Minami in the Pose tab of Poser. However, no matter how hard I try, I simply couldn't locate Eastern Beauties in Poser. I would appreciate any help on this matter. Thank you.

No worries about the questions, I'm happy to help. The Eastern Beauty morphs will be located in the dial groups after loading Genesis in Poser. Ensure that the body is selected to bring up all the dials and it will be located at Head:Female:Real World: Eastern Beauties. I have included a screen shot to show. The conversions are automatically done with DSON importing which didn't require presets. As far as Manami, I haven't updated the materials for Genesis in Poser at this time but I do plan on doing conversions for all Genesis characters released previously before DSON. The morphs will load the same as with Eastern Beauty though. I hope this clarifies a bit and of course, I will be glad to help should you need further assistance (we were all new once so don't worry the questions :) ).

    Hi,
Under Head/Female/realworld/ there should be another group under that called Eastern Beauties. In there you should see the options. It will look like the example below. If not please let me know and we'll go from there.

Thanks so much and I hope this helps :)

Odd, by chance, what version of studio are you running? Also, originally the files were not in their own group (was changed later). I just installed from the original 1.0 trx.exe file and they fall under head->female->real world, but installing through the install manager, they have their own group. Sorry if I've confused you in any way, just trying to get to the bottom of it. Let's see, if you install through the regular installer, they should be installed to the studio\my library\ folder if using the default folders. I'll stop here to get more information from you. I probably won't be able to post again until morning (2:30 AM here), but will first thing if you reply. Thanks. :)
