SOLVED Help with "TOON Generation" hair

I've tried everything I can think of but I cannot get hair to parent to a toon generation figure. If I move the chest the hair stays in place and doesn't move.   crying

hmm yes, try turning it into an object

    via select hair

    Edit>Smooth

then with the hair's model selected do

    Animation>DetachSkeleton

Afraid it still will not parent after trying your changes Head Wax

I assume you have parented it to the head? (if it is head hair).

where are the hotpoints of the hair and head and can you press capslock and change them?

I am rendering so cannot check, I have the bundle, I know it has a few issues.

All of the Toon Generations hair I have are conforming figures.

    1. Select the hair
    2. Parameters tab click on Fit to
    3. Select Base Figure from the drop down list, click Accept

The hair should attach itself to the Toon Generations figure's head if it wasn't currenly on it's head.

It does "fit to" but moves away from the head when I move the chest. Doesn't do this in Daz Studio though.

Pjotter. I've tried parenting to Head, Base figure and the model none of which works. Even tried setting up in Daz Studio and importing but only the skeleton came across.

The hotpoint is at the hips, but it does have a head entry in the hiearchy.

try capslock and move the hotpoint to the head then parent it

As soon as I put "fit to" the hotpoint moves to the hips from the head and still stays put when I move the chest

Got it to work without the "fit to". Thank you wendy.
