Pre-made characters vs. morphs, which should purchase

if I'm wanting to create a custom character is it better to buy the premade characters, like victoria7 and then customize them or get the morph dials to change the genesis 3 to fit the need?

I've purchased some packs and know you can slihglty tweek and add features to victoria 7, like changing skin or body type slighlty if you have other characters purchased. and i've purchased some morphs to tweek the face further, but wondering what i should invest in more.

Thanks

FaceGen and body morphs is my (somewhat inexperienced) vote.

I suggest using a combination of both.

I would suggest Morphs over characters if cash is really tight; but buying the occasional character that appeals is fun.

The morphs are far more versatile that the characters, unless you specifically want to produce something that was envisaged by someone else; if so then the characters are the way to go.

... Of course, dialling in small amounts of a character's head and/or body can be useful, but still less versatile; it is however quicker than messaing with dials to get something you're after.

    +1 on Facegen, very useful.

I personally use both. I start off with a character that is close to what I want and then use the morphs to get even closer.

  • I second using both pre-made characters and  other types of face and body morphs, too.  That way,you have a greater variey of the types of characters you wish to create.
