How do I delete a Daz Connect item?

Hi, I'm a new user to Daz Studio, installed DS 4.9.3 Win 64b, installed some content via Daz Connect by mistake, now I want to delete it ... but how?

I've tried every pane I could find, R-clicking provides no delete option, the minus sign button in the Content Library tab is greyed out. Stuck! Any ideas?

Cheers,

Ian

Right-click on the product and select Uninstall.

    You'd think, but ...

Ah! when you say "product" you mean the item in the alphabetical "Products" listing. Got it - thanks Richard! I went to Daz Connect listing... but right clicking on those icons doesn't give you an uninstall option.

The Products tab in Smart Content should also work.

I have installed a script via Daz Connect and I can't uninstall it because it didn't show up in the Install pane.

    How can I uninstall it?

If you find the product in Smart Content or the Products list and right-click Unisntall should be an option. Install is solely for that, it isn't for uninstall and won't show installed products at all.

I can't find it in Smart Content. It's a script and only shows up in Content Library.

Thanks for the info to uninstall Daz Connect items. I didn't know that.

I got it! I unchecked "Filter by Context" in Smart Content and it showed up. =)

    Thanks Richard for your help.

You can right-click on actual files, such as a script, and select Create Custom Action to add them to the Scripts menu - even if they are content. You can then use Window>Workspace>Customise to move them to other emnus if desired (I've created a Select menu which has some of my own scripts and the built-in commands, for example).
