Loose fitting clothing in DAZ?

Hello,

I am new to DAZ. I notice that the autofit function tends to make clothing fit very tightly around a character. What are some techniques for creating loose fitting clothing that drapes naturally? Do I need to export the clothing mesh and move individual vertices to create folds in Blender? Would I need to run some kind of cloth simulation around the character in Poser or Blender?

Thank you,

I make my clothes in marvelous designer for that, it has great dynamic simulation in it, not cheap though unfortunately. Before that I used zbrush, but it takes forever to sculpt nice looking folds.

Create a geoshell and make it smooth around body and make your clothes fit to that.

I was aware of MD, but not the dynamic cloth plugin or the geoshell idea. I will find out more about those. Thank you.
