an easy way to import and use mdl shaders in Daz studio

I think it would be nice to be able to import easily mdl shaders (for example mdl files from nvidia vmaterials) in Daz studio, maybe by a importer plugin.

You can do so - though how well they will work depends on the shader, or course. You need the Shader Mixer pane open - make sure the mdl files are in a folder set as an MDL Directory (use the Edit menu in the Shadre Mixer pane, not the main Edit menu, to open the MDL Directory Manager) then you can drag one in from its folder to add it as a code block or hold down alt(Win)/opt(Mac) and drag it in to hook it up immediately, ready for use (that has to be from memory, I've lost the MDL files that come as examples so I can't test it out).

Thank you Richard. I read "Playing around with Iray mdl" posts, but I thought about something easier to use and with better results.

The results will be dependent on the code.
