Last Tuesday my mother has been taken to hospital, she suffered a stroke and a cardiac infarction.

She is 84 and I fear time is running out.

I have trouble expressing my emotions I ended up making something I would like to share with all of you.

As always, Comments welcome

Thank you for reading.

Love to all of you
Amy

Losing a loved one always hurts because it takes moments, oppertunities, hopes, dreams and everything that could have been away. We are left with regret and grief for all the missed chances and sorrow for all the harsh words and unfulfilled dreams. We can not stop death but we can love and cherish and enjoy every moment of life with our loved ones as if it's the last.

84 years is a long life and she has done her share. Do not mourn her passing but celebrate her life while she yet lives and after she has gone. I hope you find courage and strength in this difficult time.

I hope you find the strength and peace you need to deal with this stressful time. I know when my mother was dying just being there with her was something I will never regret and afterward I knew I did my best for both of us.

Thank you both for you kind and uplifting words.

I'm doing the best I can, and I sure so does she.
She is fighting and not defeated yet, every day is another day of hope.

the stroke impacted the right-side of the brain, she is paralysed of the left side,
but still able to speak and understand if spoken to.

The speak and lingual understanding apparently is located in the left-side of the brain.

So that is some good news...

    keeping you posted

Thank you all for your wishes and kindness.

Things do look brighter now although not there yet there has been a drastic change in her condition.

The left side, that has been paralysed by the stroke can be moved again. Not 100% yet, but getting close.

In-fact she was sitting in a chair the last time I visited her and smiled at me when she saw me; With both cheeks!

I can't explain what that make me feel, but I'm confident in her fight to overcome this.

Maybe the 'Great Spirit' did listened to the prayer and helped along, as this is a miracle to me.

    So again thank you all!!

(This will be my last update about this, as the situation is stable and not much more will change overnight)

Thanks again for all your thoughts, prayers and good vibes..
She has left the hospital, and is doing well now.
she is getting therapy to strengthen her muscles , getting stronger day by day.

So I'll end this topic now, because the worst has been avoided, and I could ventilate my concerns about it.

    Love you all,
    <3<3<br /> Amy.
