SOLVED: keyboard Shortcut to go up or down in the bone Hierarchy? - eg neck to head.

Hya, just looking for s short cut to go up and down in the bone hierarchy., Eg hand to forearm etc

If there is one under what section of the custom keyboard menu would I find it? (via F3).

    I experimented. If I expand all in the Scene pane and select a bone, the up and down arrow keys will move to the next one.

    In order for this "shortcut" to go up and down the hierarchy, we have to leave the viewport and click on an item in the scene panel. So it's basically useless. We need a shortcut to navigate the bone hierarchy while still working in the viewport. PowerPose is probably what's fastest around to select body parts. But it's still a mouse, not a keyboard shortcut.

    I haven't DS open now to check but the right - left arrow should expand close the bone selections while repeated <ctl>-<shft>-I will invert the selection in the scene tab. 

    What I couldn't find was the key board mappings to choose among the many DAZ Studio tabs / panes, eg choose the Scene tab with the keyboard when it's not the current showing selection. You could go to Window - Workspace - Customize (or F3) and chose on the left to assign a keyboard shortcut to make selected the Scene tab. That will undock the scene tab though.

    Sorry to necro this thread, but I stumbled on it while looking for a solution to the same problem.  I'd like to offer what I came up with.

    I wrote a couple of short scripts that navigate up and down the node tree.  You can make them custom actions and bind a keyboard shortcut to them.  All the code is in plaintext / unprotected if anyone wants to have a look.  I know there's a way to automate the Custom Action and Shortcut creation, but I'm not that far along yet.
