True Ambience Black Objects

Hey all!

Does anyone know how to stop objects turning black when using True Ambience?

It just happens sometimes and I'm not sure what causes it!

M Sconty - difficult to answer without more information. Try this:  Disable Focused Scattering and enable Scattering Correction (and Reflection Correction) and see if it helps (speaking Bryce 7.1, not 6.1).

I'll give that a try, thank you Horo!

You may be running into inverted normals. It often happens when using meshes collapsed from boolean operations. Try exporting the object as a .obj and re-import and then try to replace it into the scene into the desired position. It's more of a boolean problem than a True Ambience issue.

Thank you, Rashad.  It was indeed due to inverted normals, and is working fine now yes
