Looks legit, looks like a form email saying here are the serial numbers for the product you purchased or aome such but there is no number listed. Needless to say I havent bought anything. Is your system glitched, fake mail attempting to plant something? I`m about to block daz.

Just one of the threads regarding this. It has happened before. (Some got like 14 of them!) I do not believe that anyone ever figured out why. Or at least I do not know if anyone received a real answer from DAZ. I certainly didn't when it happened to me.

It is nothing to worry about...unless you consider that it is another glitch that DAZ is having in their system. Again.

    Cheers :)

yep figured it as a glitch in the software, like most companies unless its critical its not worth the time and trouble to dig and fix it. thx

Oh ok. Can't be too careful these days. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't being 'jacked or anything.

I got five of these between 2:11am and 2:30am EST in my inbox. Decided to check here since "Serial-numbers" and "serialnumber" are spelled two different ways.

Would be nice for a response from our friends at DAZ.=^.^=

I received 5 emails from Daz this morning stating

    "Serial-numbers required
The following product requires additional serialnumbers"

but does not list any products, links or anything......what do I need to do?

Ignore them is the best idea. We have had this glitch occur before.

Merging this thread with the existing thread about this problem.

i received 3 at my old email address, if anyone is counting. it seemed to be more concerned about being added to my safe senders list.

I changed my registered daz email addy to my yahoo account a few months back, so i can see my emails from anywhere. Previously it went to my day job email, which i can't access from home.

the serial number thingies only went to my previous email address, not to my current registered email addy with daz.

Contact tech support and they'll fix the problem. I had the same issue and finally contacted because I was getting so many of them. They told me those are used to notify certain staff when products need more serials or something, I forget the exact wording they used for it.

It's a specific mailing list they said that sends those out though, and I somehow got on it and they didn't know how. If you contact support and let them know about those emails you are getting they will take you off that mailing list and it might encourage them to look into how people keep getting added to it if it's happening to enough people so it won't keep happening LoL
