Trouble with Autofit cape

I'm trying to get RPublishing's Chaos seed working on a Genesis 2 female.

Most of the outfit works fine, but I'm having some trouble with the cape. The images below shold show what I mean. after using autofit, the parts that are supposed to hang, stick outwards instead.

Can anyone privide suggestions on a fix?

I've tried following Sickleyields tutorials and used the Transfer utility instead, but with no success. I've also tried using 'Sickle Rigging and Morphing System', but similarly, with no sucess.

If the cape is separate from the outfit don't Fit-To, Auto-Fit is removing its rigging and replacing it with a copy of the figures.  Get the cape in place on thestarting tee posed figure then parent in place to the chest.

    Thank you for your reply.

I did consider doing that, but sadly it can't really work in this case. The chest part of the cape will attach to the body and move fine, but the shoulder parts sitck up and don't move at all. I can compensate to some degree by moving the sholder and arm bones of the cape, but it never quite looks correct (it also takes time to pose, and was hoping to animate with this).

Unless it's possible to parent the arm parts of the cape to the arms parts of Genesis 2 somehow. Is that possible?
