On starting - PostreSQL CMS missing

Hi all, I have just moved to a new graphics computer and installed the latest DAZ Studio, and used DIM to install all my content. But on starting DS I am getting the message: "A valid PostreSQL CMS connection could not be established.... Check your network, anti-virus and firewall settings for conflicts." I have no idea what conflicts I would be looking for! Any more techie people out there know what I should do please? I use AVG virus protection and firewall - could that be making Windows think there is a conflict? Where do I look to find out? Thank you - I know I am probably just being dim! lol!

Did you install the PostgreSQL CMS package? (It's its own package)
Oh! No, I assumed the DIM would install anything missing ... where would I find the package please? |I have just tried searching in the DAZ search box - nothing; also looked at the DS download product page - nothingl Thanks for your help!
The CMS package itself in DIM and called "PostgreSQL CMS".
Since you've installed a bunch of stuff, you'll probably also need to install "PostgreSQL CMS From Valentina CMS Conversion", as I belive everthing you installed will be in the older Valentina CMS. This one can take awhile to run, so be patient. :-)
To make sure you can see them, insure that you have "Software" ticked in the Settings->Download tab.
g.
Okay, the DIM isn't showing any of the the above, and Software is checked. I don't remember ever seeing anything about Valentina even on my other computer ... sorry, I know I am being dim but as soon as things get too technical I haven't much of a clue! ... My Content isn't showing in DS, either, despite me setting up all the directories in the content directories manager, but I'm assuming that has to do with the Postre not being installed ... now all I have to do is find the Postre stuff, lol!
Oh, I have looked in the Installed tab of DIM and it says Postre is installed ... so there must be a problem elsewhere? Also I see the Valentina one is installed.
I have disabled my anti-viru and firewall; checked the anti-virus vault for quarantined items; really don't know what else to do ... other than try rebooting. (When desperate, always reboot!)
I hope that got it for you, then; I can't think of anything else. Hopefully someone else more knowledgeable can chime in...
The ionstallation would only use Valentina if Valentina was installed - and PostgreSQL wasn't. One thing you can try is select all of your isntalled items (by clicking the master check-box at top-left of the Installed tab in Instal Manager), then right-click and Reimport metadata>All selected.
Thanks Gordon and Richard, tried all that, still not showing the content and refusing to connect the CMS... I think I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling DS... will report back. I think I need chocolate, and wine. lol!
Well, annoyingly and weirdly, there is no Uninstall listed, or in the DSA program files, nor is DS listed at all in the Windows Programs uninstaller. It would appear the only way I can remove DS would be to literally delete the program folder! Which means the registry will still have keys in it. Sigh! Don't know what has gone wrong, but never mind the wine, I need a stiff gin and tonic! Ah well, these things are sent to try us. ;) Perhaps I'll manually download and install, and let the new installation remove the old..
Solved it by reinstalling. Obviously something was wrong with the first install. Thanks to both of you for your input!
