1. YES there are several ways to do exactly what I am asking, this
is a request for a VERY lazy way to do this.
I would love to see an in studio app that allows you to import a jpeg, size it
and then stamp it anywhere you want on your model.
I want it to be stupid easy user friendly
works like this
hmm I want this model covered in...smiley faces...whatever
start app
import smiley face
quick size/crop adjustment
turn the camera so it is pointed at the models butt
stamp stamp stamp stamp
butt is been covered in smiles...job done
we are talking UBER user friendly
why when I know how to do it the regular way?
I feel lazy today :-)

I know a lazy way, Carrara 3D paint but yeah you need to do it in Carrara but it is almost that easy once you know how.
ya like that but has to be Daz :-/
Carrara is DAZ, as is Hexagon which has a bridge to Studio. I work with Blender3D and let me tell you an all-in-one program can be a bit overwhelming to use at times. I preferred the modular appoach of adding plug-ins or bridges to expand Studio as not everyone would need or want some options.
I use Daz + Hex
got Carrara and bryce just in case there is a model in that form that I gotta have.
but use them super rarely
Daz Studio doesn't have painting tools, so I doubt there is an "easy" way to make this happen.
Perhaps by using the Multi-Layered Image Editor?

Carrara is owned by Daz, same as Bryce, Daz Studio and Hexagon.
