Can you make the dress short? Like mid-thigh.

You can reduce the Lthigh and Rthigh groups on the Y scale to make it shorter...And the pelvis if used on Genesis.

Here I reduced the scale value to 60% on both thigh groups.

Not that I can find under parameters. It would have to be accomplished through the manipulation of textures, by which I mean you'd have to make your own transparency map to shorten both the top skirt and the underskirt. This would, however, have the unfortunate side effect of changing the shape of the bottom of the skirt.

Depending on what you're going for and your own skill with textures, it might be worth looking into maid outfits. Obviously not identical, but maybe they're similar enough for you. Here are a couple available through DAZ:

Thanks and it didn't make the dress look bad either. I assume it will work the same in Poser 2012

Thanks for responding. I'm clueless when bit comes to texturing. I have Photoshop CS5. I'd love to learn how to texture but don't know where to begin.

That is a great idea with the maid outfits and I do own both. I'd just need to match the colors with the wonderland outfit.

And THAT is a good place to start to learn texturing. Open one of the textures in Photoshop and use it as a guide to create the blue one.

  • I've been combining several outfits to make new ones and I often switch skirts. Here's one I call "Allison Wonderland" re-done from the "Long Maid Dress":
