Can't Draw A Finite Sphere or Dome?
![AeonicB](https://farnsworth-prod.uc.r.appspot.com/forums/uploads/userpics/574/n5EA28I31HJ52.png)
So I'm trying to adjust a finite cube in my scene, so it fits the room and gives me easy light. However, when I click Draw Finite Cube, nothing shows up, so I have no easy way of adjusting it.
Same goes for the sphere.
Am I doing something wrong? Thanks :)

That's totally normal.
You only see the dome in the render result. There isn't any helpful construct showing the cube/dome in the workspace.
I'm assuming you're using Iray.
Without additional info, I'll take a stab at it: The dome is an Iray function, so you can only see it when you render. This can be whether you start a regular render, or choose the NVIDIA Iray option in the viewport. The latter turns on real-time rendering. Depending on your system, it can take seconds to minutes before anything appears.
Okay, okay. For osme reason I got the impression (from an earlier iRay tip) that it would draw the dome/sphere colored in the workspace, so I could easily tweak it and make it fit the room.
Thanks :)
Select Finite Box; Visualize Finite Dome to On; set the Width, Depth and Height to fit inside the room, the settings are in Meters as far as I can make out.
This is a 3 Meter Cube and the see through coloured square is the Finite Box set to 3x3x3. I have moved the Cube to the right and up to show it.
Thanks. That's useful info!![smiley smiley](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
