Wanting to buy Content

Is there a way I can tag content so I can be notified when it goes on sale? Another site, which begins with an R, notifies me whenever an item I have on my with list goes on sale. Is there a reason Daz can't do something like this?

You can put it on your wishlist, and sale prices are listed in red on the wishlist if you look at it. But as far as I'm aware, there is no way to get email updates when the price drops on an item in your wishlist.

Hmm... that's a feature other sites have... I never noticed that this one did not have it till now :(

The problem with this solution is that I have a lot of things on my wish list. Scanning it everyday to see if something is on sale or on the grab list is a money waster because it cost me too much time. I don't even get the notices of the grab list anymore. I am sure they have lost a lot of business from me because I wasn't notified of the sale.

Oh, I agree, that function would be nice. But I'm holding out hope that they'll implement it in the new store sometime. They did just put in the "purchased" button, which everyone's been wanting. So that's really nice. I have over 80 things on my wishlist, so a notice would be nice. But I spend a lot of time searching for sales - probably too much - so it's not been so bad yet. But I know not everyone can spend the time to search the sales.

And another problem is that since mid-December some 10% of all items are invisible now in the Wishlist... check the various "wishlist" threads for details... ;-)

Before the disastrous store change-over, DAZ USED to send out notices whenever anything on your wish list went on sale -- you would get this humongous listing of everything at once, where other sites send you an email for each item individually. DAZ apparently doesn't have that functionality anymore, or simply hasn't bothered with it since. You also used to be able to skip through your wish-list and see each item on sale -- because it had "SALE" in red next to the item's price, but whether it still does that or not, I don't know -- sometimes my wish-list works, but most of the time it doesn't, so I stopped bothering with it.

Assuming it isn't multiple pages long (mine's too short; I don't know if that happens), the find function in your browser is your friend. ctrl+f and search for "Special Price". It will then jump between items that are on sale.

Not perfect, but hey, it's something.
