content library layout problems

content library pane is open on separate monitor.

I only use the second panel and the third one (Daz studio formats/poser formats) and preview of items.

I used to be able to drag the window shade and split the window into two parts.

now I can see about 6 items in the list view of the top part (1.5 inches vertical height and the rest of the window is images.
If I pull the shade down halfway and let go it pops all the way to the top ... and only shows the bottom part.

picture one shows view with both ... picture two shows after trying to pull down the top part...

what I want (and used to have is picture one divided evenly or actually with more of the top showing'

    Are you sure you are dragging the bar, not clicking the collapse toggle in the middle of the bar?

    Click on the bottom arrow to expand the collapsed view. Just tested it on my system.

    thanks.. I was using the handy little "hot spot" in the middle of the divider to pull down... that's what it's there for right? duh...  not duf, duh.
